TETRAMAX-20 Oxytetracycline 20% Injectable is a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic formulated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections in livestock. Containing Oxytetracycline 20% (200 mg/mL), it provides effective bacteriostatic activity against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as certain Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, and Chlamydia species. Oxytetracycline works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, helping control infection and support faster recovery.
Designed for veterinary use, TETRAMAX-20 is intended for use in cattle, swine, sheep, and other approved livestock under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian. Indications
For the treatment of bacterial infections caused by oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms, including:
- Bovine respiratory disease (BRD)
- Swine respiratory disease
- Pneumonia and shipping fever complex
- Enteritis and bacterial diarrhoea (scours)
- Leptospirosis
- Foot rot
- Metritis and other reproductive tract infections
- Wound, skin, and soft tissue infections
Other susceptible bacterial infections as determined by a licensed veterinarian.
