MARBOGARD Marbofloxacin 10% Injectable is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic formulated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections in livestock. Containing Marbofloxacin 10% (100 mg/mL), it provides rapid bactericidal activity against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria commonly associated with respiratory, mammary, reproductive, and soft tissue infections. Marbofloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, preventing bacterial replication and promoting fast recovery.
Designed for veterinary use, MARBOGARD is intended for use in cattle, swine, and other approved livestock under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian. Responsible use—including accurate diagnosis, susceptibility testing where appropriate, proper dosing, and adherence to withdrawal periods—is essential to preserve the effectiveness of fluoroquinolone antibiotics and help minimise antimicrobial resistance.

Indications
For the treatment of bacterial infections caused by marbofloxacin-susceptible organisms, including:
- Bovine respiratory disease (BRD)
- Acute Escherichia coli mastitis in cattle
- Metritis-Mastitis-Agalactia (MMA) syndrome in swine
Other susceptible bacterial infections as determined by a licensed veterinarian.
